Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and raised there. She studied at her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as The National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone started her acting career when she was a toddler. She played roles in Me Myself and The Farm. She worked primarily in theatre. In 2008, at the Sydney Theatre Awards, she received awards for Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress for her role as the character The Kid. In addition to her work on stage, she's had a role on TV, for supporting roles like All Saints and Spirited. From 2010 to 2011she was in The Diary of a Madman, a role for which she received a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress award at The Sydney Theatre Awards. In February of 2011 she flew from Sydney to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman, before returning to lead roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
